This application is versatile, functioning effectively with or without a password manager. Essentially, it ensures that your secure passwords remain accessible even in scenarios where your password manager may be unavailable.

The two components you need to remember are straightforward:

• Master Key: Select a memorable phrase that is unique to you, as this will serve consistently across all websites.
• Unique Key: Develop a repeatable format tailored for each website, ensuring that it differs from site to site.

As illustrated, the Master Key remains constant across different platforms, while the Unique Key adapts based on the specific site.

Once you have established your Master Key and Unique Key format, S3Crypt enables the generation of exceptionally secure passwords for each website.
